Why are most intelligent people unsociable?

Like with anything, being sociable is a skill.

If someone is highly intelligent, it is likely they spend a lot of time by themselves, educating themselves, playing games (problem-solving), etc.

So their social skills are weak and critical thinking is strong.

There are people who did both, so they are both social and smart.

There are people who socialise a lot, so while they have good social intelligence, they might lack in critical thinking.

These are all problems that can be solved with practice. If you feel you need to be more social, put yourself out there and talk to people. It might be awkward at first but you will get better.

Remember the first time you did something difficult? You look dumb doing it, but now you are probably a master at it!

It's the same with anything.

Good luck my friend. Nothing is a given, you can change yourself.
